Currently the Year 4/5 class is studying narratives through another technology based-model called SOLE (Self-Organised Learning Environments). I have been working with our RFF teacher, Mr B, closely in planning and preparing lessons that will incorporate the use of Comic Life. In my action plan, I identified school staff as people I may engage with to discuss, learn and use technology with. I feel that when they begin being exposed to Comic Life and are given time to test out the app, they will be excited to use all the features to create a narrative (as is the task for one class), or a biography on a Famous Australian (as is the goal for the Stage 3 classes). I accidentally stumbled across an image that provided me with a list of ways Comic Life can be used and I found it fascinating that one app could have so many uses. I have a had limited time with the app and am still learning all its applications to education. Comic Life was a last addition to my e-Portfolio.
